During the last 6 months there was no activity on the blog so I suppose you are not interested in maintaining it. Those who want to keep the blog active please express your wish.....
If by the end of January we do not have the support of at least 1/3 of the people I will close it.

Hola guys.

I was thinking to do another Maich meeting and I talked with some of Maich students and we agreed for this.
In advance I plan the trip which will be organized between 10 – end of October (weekend) here in Albania.

The weekend trip consists on:

Picking up you guys in Mother Theresa Airport (TIA – Tirana International Airport at Friday afternoon or wherever you announce to come) and enjoying the pre - meeting in my house where most of you will stay (according to the number of persons that will come).

Saturday program
Saturday early in the morning with 2 cars (if we need more we have a van as well), we will start the trip from Tirana to east south of Albania, our first stop will be in Pogradeci where we can stop to have the morning coffee near the Ohri, and from here we will continue our trip to Korça the biggest city of east South of Albania where we can have lunch in one of the villages, I would advice Voskopoja known as the city Churches which during of Dictatorial system most of the where destroyed, now as I well remember we can see only some of them ( [www.united-albania.com] ). Here we can have one of the most delicious dishes of the region “lakrori” which is a characteristic pie of the region, and indeed the delicious meat and the traditional “Raki” the burning drink.
From Korça through ex national road of 1950 – ’60 to National park of Germenji and we will have coffee break, and Leskoviku town from where we can clearly see Greek village of Konica, and taste the wonderful wine for which the town is well known. After this we can go to Permeti town known as well as the city of roses. We can pass the night in one of the hotel in the center of town.

Sunday early in the morning – till Sunday late evening
Sunday early in the morning we drive from Permeti to Gjirokastra to visit the stone town which is protected by UNESCO for the culture of buildings and etc. After visiting Gjirokastra we drive to Saranda, before entering at Saranda we can visit (National park Blue Eye) and have a lunch (fresh fried fish or what ever, very cheap).
After been for a while in Saranda bay we drive from Saranda through seashore road to Vlora passing through National Park of Llogara where very nice view from different sides like sea, mountain relief, beaches etc can be enjoyed from approximately 1200 m elevation above sea level. After having a coffee break at Llogara Park we drive from Vlora to Tirana for dine.

Some photos from those sites I would like to suggest you to have a look at Google Earth to check for towns that we will cross or visit, or if you would like to have more pictures from my field work in such areas please do not hesitate telling me.

- No....not like that.
But I just finished organizing a beautiful & thereby thoughtful summer school here in Bayreuth (not about freak Wagner).
It would be great if one of You would like to come or even decides to really come here!
Of course its all English & its all professional, although the tip comes from me;)
Well...or see somewhere else next time soon!

Spring.I know such, in spring ...

Spring.

I know such, in spring the blood change and people feel tired mostly without a reason.

about me: after 1 month being married i can tell you it is nothing different than before the only think that make differences is that thinking that i am married, i have to do this, that, so many stupid ideas which doesn't help at all.

What about you? How you daily life is running, and do you have any plan in continuous?

crisis eeeeeeeee.i know this crisis is giving its effect even in simple things.

I see nobody is taking interest in this blog as usual. Lazy bastards ! So news from Switzerland ....we do not have to many, during the week-end we go to ski when is nice weather and none of us is sick :(. The PhDs are going up and down like usual ...one day you have a breakthrough and the second you are in the dirt again .....what else....
no news from anybody.

Regarding Chirine offer ...well we have checked the prices for Cuba and is quite expensive. So I am afraid she has to come to Europe ...

P.S. I still did not manage to see Rita after one month of living at 120 km ...she is soooo busy doing strange thing with her plants even during week-ends ...actually we were planning a dinner at her place and then she remembered that she has to work ...bullshit !

miss u all and wish a happy happy new year to all of you...
i have a suggestion dont know if it will be a good one but i will try to manipulate you all...
since im far far far from europe and im in the weird continent and in in north america...snif snif snif..(im crying here ok)...so i know that u feel sorry for me and that s why u all are going to come to cuba or mexico this summer so i can see you...:)..seriously, what about going to cuba in may for one week...i think the prices from here or from europe are the same...cose for me going to europe it is gonna cost me 3 months rent ;)...so please think about it just one week...come on guys...mihai please convince them...

I hope all of you are doing great and having fun.

After more than 2 weeks since i was there in madrid I have no news about you guys.

Fabrizia how is going about you?
Cris for sure is somewhere in Spain, travelling or probably checking for ticked reservation.
Mihail as well as i saw him doing such a thing.
Argyro for sure will solve the financial crisis.
Irene must be very busy with her things, I hope to read something about her thesis.......
Panagiotis: It was great knowing you.
Nacho. Are you so busy that you have no time to check your emails or at list this wonderful blog.

For the rest I would like to read your best and please give few minutes from your time to this blog as everybody wants to know what is going around.
